Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

Siftara is built to be private by design. It runs on your device. It has no account system, no analytics on your photo library, and no server that could receive your photos. Your photos never leave your phone.

Data we collect

None. Siftara's App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, photos, or usage information tied to you.

How Siftara uses your photos

Siftara needs access to your photo library so it can help you review and delete photos. All processing, including sorting screenshots and bursts, detecting similar shots, scoring image quality, and reading text from images, happens entirely on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. No photo, thumbnail, feature print, or extracted text is uploaded anywhere.

Deleting photos

When you choose to delete photos, Siftara uses Apple's standard system deletion. Deleted photos move to your Recently Deleted album, where iOS ordinarily keeps them for up to 30 days before permanent removal. You can restore them from the Photos app during that period. Siftara cannot access or empty Recently Deleted on your behalf.

Purchases

Siftara Pro is sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Payments, subscriptions, and receipts are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Siftara never sees your payment information. The app receives only the entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features on your device.

Permissions we request

Third parties

Siftara includes no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Apple provides App Store distribution and in-app purchases.

Children

Siftara is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
